This model of Automation Kit for Extruders, the client may register the different produced recipes, where for each one will be registered the amount of water to be inserted through the potable water pump in the preconditioner, the temperatures of each sector of the cannon and exit of the preconditioner, the temperature of the steam heating, in addition to the values of the engine speeds for start of production and full load.
Machine variables are monitored and controlled from a set point. Once the recipes are programmed, the machine goes into specific startup of the selected recipe and adjusts throughout the production.
The interface of operation with the machine is made from a 10 "touch screen HMI where it is possible to register the produced recipes and withdraw production reports using a USB Flash Drive and log. The system has login and password for access and change, where you can choose the access levels that each user can have. If the original electrical panel of the machine is very old, won´t be a problem because in the automation kit digital, relay and analog inputs and outputs have been provided that can control other equipment without any difficulty.

Configurable login and password:
In the automation kit system, it is possible to register several users with their respective passwords. For each user, it is possible to choose and select the actuation and change levels within the existing functions.

Production Reports:
Through a USB Flash drive and a release of access through the login and password used, it is possible to extract production reports that contain the production time, Ton / Hour produced, which recipe was used, and which operator was responsible for the production.
Preconditioning Drinking Water: With a flow meter installed in the water inlet of the Extruder, the required quantity is programmed and by the speed variation of the water pump controlled by a frequency inverter, this value is constantly searched. If the values of the flow meter do not stabilize or remain a certain percentage outside the programmed, the system counts a time and an alarm is indicated. The mounting of the sensor is facilitated by the fact that it is of the insert type, it means, it is not necessary to carry out the sectioning of the pipe. A simple bore in the tube, with the coupling of a glove, may enough in most cases. Different types of connections, such as T pipe connections, clamps or wafer, are available for other situations. Due to this feature, the whole installation is carried out easily and quickly.The sensor, which has at its end a rotor, measures the Flow discharge speed within the tube. Once the velocity is determined and the cross-section of the pipe is known, the flow value is reached.
Temperatures of Cannon zones and Pre-Conditioner
With a PT-100 temperature gauges, the ideal temperature of each zone is parameterized, the PT-100 indicates the temperature variation and a steam modulating valve has its control changed to maintain the temperatures that were previously parameterized.
Measuring Productivity
The agitator tank is composed of a set of load cells, junction box and two-level sensors, maximum and minimum. By the signals of maximum and minimum level the logic controls the supply of the agitator tank, reading the weight, calculating the time and thus obtaining the production estimate of the Extruder.
Anti-blocking protection
By monitoring the cannon motor current, a maximum value for this current is programmed. When this value exceeds a certain percentage, also programmable, a bypass is made that transfers the product from the preconditioner to out of the machine, to avoid jamming the cannon.
Frequency inverters in main headings:
The Dosing screw thread, Pre-Conditioner, Knife and Drinking Water pump starts with frequency inverters, where a much wider range of adjustments is possible, allowing not only more types of recipes to be produced with precision, quality and uniformity the final product.
The adjustments, registers and parametrizations are extremely intuitive. Once a given material has been produced, once all the values of temperature, water quantity, inverter speeds are satisfactory, a "SAVE VALUES" bottom can be activated and that parameterization for that recipe becomes the Set Point in the next productions.
If for any reason, the operator deems it necessary to make any changes, the system allows through a special password registered to persons authorized by the company's board of directors.
