Scheduled Maintenance: exchange of threads and jackets for extruder

As we know, the replacement of extruder jackets and threads is often a very laborious and expensive operation, since over time the fittings between threads and shaft become impregnated with crumbs, salts, steam, making the highly difficult, slow and expensive dismantling operation.

For this reason, we propose that every three months Ferraz send a highly trained technician to remove the threads from the shaft and, at the same time, remove the shaft from the fitting on the reducer, disassembling the whole assembly, lubricating properly and reassembling it , generating a much calmer situation when replacing the threads.

Note that the cost of this service provision is highly compensatory for the hours that will be saved and for the decrease in the cost of disassembly and subsequent assembly.

Our goal is to ensure that the customer has the best possible result in their operation and that the machine is stopped as short as possible.
